Do you think Pilates really needs a gimmick in order to be fresh and attract new clients? Classes like Pilates for ballroom dancers or Pilates for the golfers are they ethical?

I don't think you need a gimmik. Actually the opposite. When I got hired where I'm working they actually wanted a REAL PIlates class because they already had yogalates and pilates fusion but they weren't doing well. Not to say new things aren't interesting to people. I teach a 45 basic class and then add a 15 min workout at the end that is something different like PIlates for golf or Pilates with weights or for the butt. Just to mix it up a little bit. But the class is still PIlates Mat.
